Being a young adult with cancer is an experience few can understand. At an age when most are chasing dreams, education, and independence, young adults with fusion-positive alveolar rhabdomyosarcoma are fighting for their lives.

Fishing for Hope is a special wish-granting program just for Children, Adolescents and Young Adults (AYA), who are currently undergoing treatment for cancer.

We grant fully arranged fishing excursion wishes—designed to bring a moment of peace, joy, and connection to young adults and their families during one of the most challenging times of their lives.

Fishing for Hope: A Special Program for AYA Patients

At one of life’s most difficult crossroads, sometimes what’s needed most is a breath of fresh air, a change of scenery, and a moment of joy.

Fishing for Hope is a wish-granting program created especially for Adolescents and Young Adults (AYA), ages 18–24, who are currently undergoing treatment for Alveolar Rhabdomyosarcoma.

We offer fully arranged, all-expenses-paid fishing excursions—carefully designed to:

Bring joy and a positive distraction during active treatment.
Offer peaceful moments in nature, away from hospitals and appointments.
Create lasting memories with loved ones.
Tailored experience to the unique needs, health, and preferences of the young adult.

These trips are flexible, accessible, and always planned with the patient’s comfort and well-being.

Who Can Apply?

Individuals aged 18 to 24
Currently in active treatment for Alveolar Rhabdomyosarcoma or a related diagnosis
Able to travel with medical clearance (we’ll help guide you!)
