About the event
The First Annual Fishing for Hope Tournament will take place at Sea Hag Marina, bringing anglers, families, and community partners together for a meaningful day on the water in support of a cause that goes beyond the catch. Hosted by the Will Carpenter Adolescent and Young Adult (AYA) Cancer Foundation, this fundraiser raises critical funds to support adolescents and young adults as they face their courageous battle with cancer. Proceeds from the tournament help provide hope, strength, and support during one of the most challenging times in their lives.
The tournament will be held on April 4, 2026. Boat registration is $150 per boat, with no limit on the number of anglers per boat. Participants registering a junior angler must list the angler’s age to ensure placement in the appropriate division. Tournament categories include Slam, Slot Trout, Redfish, Spanish Mackerel, Most Spots, and a Junior Angler Division by age…
